Whether you are looking at buying new real estate and want to know exactly what you are getting into or just want to take the guess work out of energy upgrades, thank you for considering Arctic Engineering for your home inspection. We have extensive knowledge and experience in cold climate housing that allows us to provide a thorough evaluation of your home. We believe that every home energy audit should include thermal imaging of the entire home because this is the only way to take the guess work out of those energy upgrades.
Thermal Imaging is the process of viewing and recording actual surface temperatures, signatures, and anomalies observed at surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, ducts, etc. Think of it as a thermometer with a television attached. Instead of mercury rising through the marks, the temperature is translated into a visual image. Using a high resolution thermal imager, we can observe and interpret surface temperatures to help determine what is occurring in areas we can't readily view without destructive evaluations. All objects emit energy in the form of heat. Thermal imaging allows us to see this energy.
Thermal imaging scans will show the following.
At Arctic Engineering, we take the time to do the job right. We spend time with you, clearly explaining our findings, giving you real answers that can help you make the right decision. We understand how important energy conservation is to you. Once our thorough energy audit is complete, we will provide a complete notebook that includes photos and explanations. We don't consider a job to be complete until all of your questions are answered.
Our inspector is not only experienced in arctic construction techniques of the Fairbanks area, but he is also a Civil Engineer with the technical background to provide you with real solutions. Call us today to schedule an appointment. (907) 378-8210.
